Monitoring Types
Statusly supports four core monitoring protocols out of the box. Each check runs from multiple data centers across Europe and Central Asia to eliminate false positives.
HTTP / HTTPS Monitoring
Send GET, POST, or HEAD requests to any URL. Statusly validates response codes (200–299 = healthy), measures response time in milliseconds, and optionally matches body content against custom regex patterns. Check intervals start at 60 seconds.
Port Monitoring (TCP / ICMP)
Verify that specific ports — SSH (22), RDP (3389), database (3306, 5432), or custom — remain open and responsive. TCP checks confirm a successful handshake; ICMP pings validate network-layer reachability. Both run from the same global probe network.
SSL Certificate Tracking
Statusly inspects the TLS certificate chain on every monitored HTTPS endpoint. You receive a warning 30 days before expiry, a critical alert 7 days before, and a daily reminder during the final week. Certificate issuer, SANs, and protocol version are logged for audit trails.
DNS Resolution Monitoring
Track A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, and TXT record resolutions from multiple geographic locations. Statusly flags mismatched records, unexpected IP changes, and propagation delays after DNS edits. Useful for teams managing multi-region deployments.
Alerts
Notification Channels
When something goes down, Statusly notifies your team instantly — not once per day, not once per hour. Every alert goes out within 15 seconds of detection.
Telegram Bot Notifications
Connect your Telegram account or group in two clicks. Statusly sends structured messages with endpoint name, current status, response time, and a one-tap link to the status page. Supports multiple chat IDs so DevOps, management, and client-facing channels each receive the right subset of alerts.
Viber Business Alerts
Register a Viber Business Account and link it to Statusly. Incoming alerts include color-coded status badges, uptime percentage, and incident timestamps. Viber push notifications are delivered even when the app runs in the background, making it ideal for on-call engineers in CIS markets.
Email Notifications
Classic email alerts sent via SMTP or SendGrid. Configure separate recipient lists for "down" events and "recovery" events. Weekly digest emails summarize uptime per endpoint, mean response time, and the number of incidents — perfect for stakeholders who want a high-level view.
Webhook & Slack Integration
Send real-time JSON payloads to any HTTP endpoint or Slack channel. Webhooks include the full incident object: monitor ID, check timestamp, status code, response body snippet, and probe location. Chain them into PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or internal incident-management scripts.
Ecosystem
Integrations
Statusly plugs into the tools your team already uses. No vendor lock-in, no data silos.
Status Page Embedding
Publish a branded public status page in minutes. Embed it on your website via a lightweight iframe snippet or a direct link. The page auto-updates with each incident, shows real-time uptime graphs, and displays a 30-day history. White-label options are available on Business plans.
REST API
Full programmatic access to every resource: monitors, incidents, status pages, and notification channels. The API uses OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens and returns JSON. Rate-limited to 600 requests per minute on Standard plans, 2,400 on Business. OpenAPI 3.0 spec is available at api.statusly.io/spec.
GitHub & GitLab CI Webhooks
Trigger a Statusly check after every deployment. When a GitHub Actions pipeline or GitLab CI job completes, Statusly runs a post-deploy health check against your staging or production URL and reports pass/fail directly in the CI log. Catches broken releases before they hit users.
Data Export (CSV / JSON)
Export historical uptime data, response-time logs, and incident timelines in CSV or JSON format. Use the export for quarterly SLA reports, compliance audits, or to feed your own BI dashboards. Exports cover any date range up to the account retention period (90 days free, 1 year on paid plans).
Trust
Security & Reliability
Your monitoring data is sensitive. Statusly is built to keep it private, intact, and always accessible.
End-to-End TLS 1.3
All communication between your browser, the Statusly dashboard, and the probe network uses TLS 1.3 with AES-256-GCM encryption. Certificate pinning is enforced on the API layer. No plaintext traffic ever leaves our infrastructure.
Role-Based Access Control
Assign team members as Admin, Editor, or Viewer. Admins manage billing and integrations; Editors create and modify monitors; Viewers read-only access to dashboards and status pages. Invite up to 5 members on the Starter plan, unlimited on Business.
99.99 % Platform Uptime
Statusly's own infrastructure runs across three availability zones in Frankfurt, Warsaw, and Moscow. Health checks are distributed so that a single zone failure never silences your alerts. Our public status page — monitored by UptimeRobot — documents every incident transparently.
GDPR-Compliant Data Handling
Monitoring data is stored in EU-aligned regions. We retain raw logs for 90 days (configurable) and anonymize IP addresses in analytics exports. Data-processing agreements (DPAs) are available for download in the billing portal. Right-to-deletion requests are fulfilled within 48 hours.
